Gourds are grown all over the United States. I like to get my gourds from the south as they are very hard shelled. Mother Nature controls the shape of these. I can usually find a gourd very similar to be able to duplicate a design. It may be fatter, thinner, taller, or shorter but the overall appearance will be comparable.

GD #001R ~ Snowman with Cardinals

This snowman is made on a banana gourd and is approx. 8” tall. He has a black felt hat with a cardinal sitting in some greens on it. He is holding a cardinal in one hand and a birdhouse in the other arm. A wreath is also hanging on his arm. You can tell he has been in the snow just by seeing all the snow on him. The cardinals & birdhouse were created by me. Each one I create will be just a little different because no two gourds are the same. You will just love this guy.

GD #002r ~ Mini Snowman Head

These are done on spinner gourds and I have shown them on a soda bottle cap so you can visualize the size. You also see some of them on the tree. Hats may be different but they are all exceptionally nice. You won’t regret getting some of these.

GD #003 R ~ Candy Cane Santa

This guy stands 23" tall and 5" wide. I have painted him on a gourd using acrylic paints and then varnished him. Such a wonderful conversation piece with a candy cane in one hand and a bag full of candy canes in the other. He has wooden shoes on with snow on them, there is also snow on the top of his candy cane hat. Wouldn't he look great on your hearth? He will last forever.

GD #004 ~ Let It Snow

This guy is taking a rest after a hard day in the snow. The back drop is tin and measures 10 X 14” The gourds may differ in size. Also the hat & ribbon may be different. If you e-mail me I can tell you what colors I have. He is so cute!

He is painted on a gourd which measures 8 x 12” tall. His waddle and the berries are 3-D. What a great centerpiece for fall.

This guy is a real cutie! Has raffia for his hair coming out from under his hat. He has sunflowers and a black crow on his hat. Stands 6 x 10” tall.
